Access Violation Error

Hi everyone,

Running Windows 11, and after the latest update to portableapps, v2.9.12, I now get the following error:

Access violation at address 010DC650 in module portableapps.exe read of address 000001E0

How do I solve this issue please?

Thank you kindly Smile

Seeing nobody was able to reply and help solve, I will unfortunately need to uninstall portableapps, which is a real shame Sad

Please See

This sounds like a duplicate of this bug: https://portableapps.com/node/58169

It shows up occasionally on some PCs. Generally, closing and restarting the platform sorts it.

Any Info?

If you notice anything specific that can trigger it, please let us know in that linked bug! Stuff like a specific app starting, a specific app in the menu, something else running on your PC at the same time, etc. I found a couple causes of it over the years and fixed those, but there's obviously at least 1 or 2 more I need to track down.
