What's the best way to register a portable app lets say Firefox on Windows 11 as a Standard browser?
Update: When making FF as a Standard browser in the app itself I am able to add it in the win 11 standard apps panel.
Unfortunately it opens now with the clean default FF profile. Any solutions for that?

You need to use a third party utility to set FirefoxPortable.exe as the default browser in Windows.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I am using this vb script which works for me. I am only concerned about the safety cause my virus scanner alerts.
