Firefox portable (only) does not recognize valid certificate

I discovered an issue with the website of a utility provider: https://client.hidroelectrica.ro
In Firefox Portable it does not work with error SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER.

My Portable Firefox was deployed as 87, updated through Firefox's mechanism to current latest.
Tested on 3 different deployments of Firefox Portable, each originating from different versions initially, updated through Firefox's mechanism to current latest.

Certificate is issued by "GeoTrust EV RSA CA 2018" (from DigiCert Inc).

The same URL works fine on the installed variant of Firefox (97) and on a legacy installed FirefoxESR-52.
The same URL works fine on the installed Chrome (latest).

These other browsers see the certificate hierarchy rooted at "DigiCert High Assurance EV Root CA".
And Firefox Portable does have this CA in it's certificate manager - authorities.

What can I do to make it work?

Manual Upgrade

Please perform a manual upgrade to ensure that all of Firefox's files are up to date: https://portableapps.com/support/portable_app#upgrading

This will not affect your Data and is the method used by the PA.c Platform to upgrade, which is used by most users.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
